Peter Georgens, Hoffmann in Ungstein and the Leiningen farm known as Weilach, was born about 1630. He died at Weilach 26 Aug 1691. He was married to Anna Maria, surname unknown, who died 17 Jan 1692 in Leistadt, two days after receiving communion.[1] Their children were:
- Matthäus: b. about 1655; m.(1). Anna Apollonia Anton; m.(2) Catharina _; d. after 1707.[2]
- Maria Juliana: b. about 1660; conf. 1673, age 13, in Kallstadt[3]
- David (“Veit”): b. about 1665; m.(1) Anna Catharina, widow of Johannes Ott (she dies 1 May 1681); m.(2) Anna Ursula Krauss, daughter of Martin of Wachenheim, 3 Oct 1682 in Kallstadt; d. 29 Jul 1690 in Hardenburg[4]
- Anna Dorothea: b. about 1667; conf. 1680, age 13, in Kallstadt[5]
- Johann Friedrich: bap. 27 Aug 1670 in Dürkheim; conf. 1683 in Kallstadt[6]
- Johann Lorentz: bap. 1 Sep 1672 in Kallstadt; conf. 1686 in Kallstadt[7]
- Agnes: sick and received communion 10 Mar 1674, no indication of age[8]
Matthäus Georgens was the shepherd at Weilach and later settled in Leistadt. He had the following children with his first wife, Anna Apollonia Anton:
- Johann Anton: bap. 19 Aug 1677 in Kallstadt; m. Anna Sabina Heck, daughter of Augustin Heck, 13 Jun 1702 in Leistadt. Anton was the father of Anna Elisabetha, who married Johann Adam Freiermuth, son of Erasmus.[9]
- Anna Catharina: b. about 1680; m. Johann Wilhelm Freiermuth, son of Wolfgang Adam, about 1698
He had the following children with his second wife, Catharina:
- Johann Nickel: b. about 1698; bur. 13 Sep 1703, age five and a half, in Leistadt[10]
- Johann Adam: bap. 18 Jul 1700 in Leistadt[11]
- Johann Philip: bap. 6 Apr 1704 in Leistadt[12]
- Johann Peter: bap. 18 Dec 1707 in Leistadt; m. Anna Eva Freiermuth, daughter of Johann Adam, 20 Jan 1728 in Leistadt. Johann Peter became a Gerichtsmann in Leistadt.[13]
